Wildlife Instincts: Cheetah – The Fastest Animal on Earth | Wildlife Documentary

Watch ‘Wildlife Instincts: Pallas’s Cat – Master of the Plains’ here: https://youtu.be/YaOJz4h6P64

The ingrained image of the cheetah is one of a solitary hunter running as fast as 100km per hour to chase down prey. But a discovery on the plains of East Africa is turning that image on its head: five non-related individuals living together and hunting as a pack, like lions. For the first time, cameras follow this unorthodox “brotherhood” up close to reveal the reason behind their cohabitation.

Cheetah cub learns how to hunt and kill a scrub hare

health No Comments »

Cheetah Kweli is a fantastic mom. She caught a scrub hare but did not kill it, and is now teaching her little bouncy cub how to hunt. Difficult to watch as the poor scrub hare is being played with and fighting for its life, but a critical life lesson for the four month old cub. Filmed in the Masai Mara, with thanks to @KichecheCamps for their brilliant guiding as always, and to Barry Chapman for the incredible photo used as the thumbnail for this video.
