Video 2 of a multi video series providing free sex education for middle school students who don’t have access to sex education or for teachers who want an easy way to implement a sex-ed curriculum or for parents who would rather someone else teach their children about the birds and the bees. Whatever the reason, my goal is to educate teenagers about their bodies so they can make the best and smartest decisions regarding their health, sex, and relationships. This curriculum aligns with the CT state guidelines for middle school sexual health education (see link below).

What’s the most important thing you learned about sex over the last few years?

When Giovanni first had sex with a man, he felt paralysed. Mira learned very late that consent was more than not getting raped. José went to a Catholic school and had factually incorrect sex ed.

We talked to the three of them about their journey to getting the sex ed they needed but didn’t have in school.
